What is the Client-Server Model?

The client-server model is how most of the internet works. A "client" is usually your browser or device that requests something — like a webpage. A "server" is the computer that stores and delivers that content. When you visit a website, your browser (the client) sends a request to the server, and the server responds by sending back the webpage. This model keeps things organized and allows multiple users to access the same content at the same time.
